From there, we will begin our journey towards Ouarzazate, a historic caravan town that served as an important stop on the silk and salt trade routes in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Ouarzazate is commonly referred to as the Gateway to the Sahara. Our route will take us through the stunning landscape of the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the charming Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi-in-Tichka pass. Along the way, we will marvel at the natural beauty of the region, including stunning vistas, deep gorges, and jagged peaks. Our first major stop will be at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which is located approximately 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. This ancient red earth castle is one of the most captivating structures that lines the historic road of the Kasbahs. It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a true testament to the region's rich cultural heritage. This journey promises to be an unforgettable adventure, as we take you through some of Morocco's most iconic landscapes and historical landmarks. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

After departing from Ouarzazate, your journey will continue towards the northeast, where you will have the opportunity to visit the largest solar field in the world. You will travel on a 2020 motorcycle, specially designed for long-range travel, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey. As you continue your adventure, you will pass through the High Atlas Forest, where you can witness the natural beauty of the region up close. You will then ascend to the high plains, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, which are known for their stunning array of colors. Your journey will end in the famous Berber village of Naqoub, which is renowned for its 52 traditional cachaas (fortified granaries). Here, you will spend the night in a cozy guesthouse, immersing yourself in the rich cultural traditions of the Berber people. This will be an experience like no other, as you enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals and savor the unique flavors of Berber cuisine. This adventure promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as you explore the stunning landscapes and cultural heritage of Morocco. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will bid farewell to the Valley of Nkoub and head towards our next destination. Our first stop will be to visit a Berber nomad named Ait Atta, where you will have the opportunity to learn about their unique way of life and experience their hospitality. As we continue our journey, we will visit some other exciting places such as Alnif, before venturing off-road to explore some of the region's picturesque villages. Here, we will stop for a picnic lunch, taking in the breathtaking scenery and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As the day draws to a close, we will arrive at our final destination for the day: Mharch Tafraoute. Here, you will spend the night in a comfortable guesthouse, allowing you to relax and recharge before the next leg of your journey. The guesthouse offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the perfect opportunity to connect with other travelers and learn more about the local culture. This leg of the journey promises to be filled with adventure, as we explore the stunning landscapes, meet local nomads, and experience the unique culture and hospitality of the Berber people.

Today, we will continue our adventure by driving our motorcycle from Mharch Tafraoute to Merzouga, where we will encounter the stunning sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to discover some of the charming Berber villages that are situated in this region. As we journey further, we will pass through Rissani, a small town known for its lush palm groves and vibrant markets. Here, you can immerse yourself in the local culture and pick up some souvenirs to take home with you. Finally, we will arrive at our destination for the day: Merzouga. Here, we will set up a luxurious camp, where you can relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. As night falls, you will have the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime camel ride through the majestic sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. This leg of the journey promises to be filled with excitement, as we discover the unique beauty of the Moroccan desert, immerse ourselves in local culture, and experience the thrill of a camel ride in the heart of the Sahara.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the majestic sand dunes of Merzouga. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we set off on the next leg of our journey to Alnif. As we ride, we will traverse a vast desert expanse, characterized by harsh, windswept sands, sparse vegetation, and the occasional tree or shrub. This remote region is home to a unique and rugged beauty, with panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Our destination for the day is the town of Alnif, which is located in the Tinghir province of the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco. With a population of around 3,770 inhabitants, Alnif is a small but vibrant community that is situated in the southeastern part of the country. As we arrive in Alnif, we will have the opportunity to explore the town and immerse ourselves in its unique culture and traditions. Whether you choose to visit local markets, sample traditional cuisine, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this fascinating region, you are sure to have an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast in the morning, we will depart from Alnif and head towards Ouarzazate. Alnif is well known around the world for its fossils. We will drive on a beautiful track nestled between two mountains, the Djbel Sahro and the Djbel Ougnat. We will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Ouarzazate and enjoy a delicious dinner.

For travelers who are interested in exploring small towns and archaeological sites on their journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech, there are many points of interest to discover. One such place is Ait Benhaddou, a town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by stone walls, representing a traditional pre-Saharan habitat. Additionally, a unique stop along the way could include the kasbah of Telouet, a Berber village where many drivers stop to enjoy a traditional meal.
